4Pi HPGe Array Solutions
Demand has been growing over the past decade for gamma-
ray spectrometers with the highest resolving power for each
interaction point for a gamma in the array. State-of-the-art
instruments are needed to study nuclear structures at the very
limits of stability. A 4Pi shell is therefore required involving
more than 100 detectors to precisely track any event even if a
scattering has occurred in the neighbor element. Veto scintillator
detectors, such as BGO, are no longer needed for this application
